Prostadine drug information

Prostadine is prescribed to treat urinary problems and other problems caused by an enlarged prostate. The prostate gland in some older people is usually larger than normal. Enlarged prostate gland is also called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The prostate is located near the bladder; Therefore, enlargement of this gland can cause problems in urination. Symptoms of this disorder include delayed urination, dripping urine, and a feeling of inadequate bladder emptying.

The herbal pill prostadine contains two herbs, sawdust and nettle, which treat this problem by blocking the conversion of testosterone to the stronger hormone dihydrotestosterone, as well as by blocking an enzyme called 5 alpha reductase. Dihydrotestosterone is partly responsible for prostate enlargement; Therefore, reducing the amount of dihydrotestosterone in the prostate causes it to contract and helps to pass urine easily.

Multiple studies have shown that the extract of saw palm and nettle root has similar benefits to finasteride. The effect of saw palm as an inhibitor of 5-alpha reductase enzyme in preventing and controlling androgenic hair loss has also been proven. Nettle root extract in prostatin tablets helps to improve the effects of enlarged prostate by increasing the volume of urine as well as reducing the residual urine. This extract helps control benign prostate enlargement by inhibiting the binding of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) to prostate receptors as well as inhibiting the aromatase enzyme.
